About the training

NextUp Rising Stars is a leadership development program that empowers tomorrow’s leaders by increasing self-awareness, enhancing leadership skills, and helping participants expand their networks.
Ideal for high-potential individual contributors and early/mid-level leaders, this program uses straightforward feedback and practical learning to expand participants’ leadership capacity, give them the tools to succeed in mid-career positions and promote career advancement.
Based on the NextUp Career Accelerator Model™, the program includes: a customized 360 assessment; the Fascination Advantage branding tool; a three-day, in-person learning event including executive coaching; group coaching sessions before, during and after the event; and one executive coaching session (with option to add additional sessions for a fee).

Gain greater awareness of individual leadership style.
Connect with strengths and areas of potential derailment in advancing one’s career.
Learn strategies for maximizing strengths, balancing areas for improvement, improving workplace interactions, and boosting confidence to pursue career goals.
Get exposure to a network of industry peers to help navigate work/life challenges.

Who Should Attend?
Mid-level leaders, with or without direct reports – approximately 5 years of leadership experience.

Includes one pre-event and one post-event group and a 1:1 virtual coaching session.

Commitment
4 month commitment of approximately 4 hours/month & a 3-day, in-person event.

- Approx. 4 hours, including: Virtual orientation, 360 Assessment.
May
- Approx. 4 hours, including: Virtual Group coaching, virtual 360 Assessment debrief, Personal Development Plan.
June
- 3 days of inspirational learning and connection at the beautiful Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa in Austin, TX.
July
- Approx. 4 hours, including: Personal Development Plan refinement, one-on-one coaching, group coaching.

Partner Purchase Codes: Your organization will receive an initial invoice for the codes based on when the request for the code was made.
Ex. You requested 25 codes on 1/4/23. You will get an invoice for 25 codes at the Early Bird Rate. Billing rates and dates are listed below. To avoid additional charges, your selected participants will need to register in the time frame you were billed at. If your selected participant(s) register in a different timeframe than you were billed, you will receive an additional invoice for the increased rate based on when they register.

12/15/22 – 1/20/23 Early Bird Rate $3295
1/21/23 – 4/6/23 Standard Rate $3595
4/7/23 – 4/12/23 Last Chance Rate $3895

Individual purchase Refund and Cancelation: You may cancel your registration within 14 days of purchase or until March 29th, whichever comes first. All purchases and registrations made after 3/29/23 are not eligible for cancellation or refund. The last day to cancel your registration is March 29th. Cancellations incur a $500 fee. To cancel, log in to your NextUp Account and select “My Event Registration” from the left navigation. Here, you can cancel any upcoming registrations by clicking “Cancel.”
Partner Purchase Code Refunds & Cancellations: Codes can be cancelled (refunded) within 14 days of the code request or by 3/29/23, whichever comes first. Please email learning@nextupisnow.org to request code cancelations.
Transfers: An unused Partner Purchase code(s) and individual registrations can be transferred to a different attendee until 3/29/23. If an individual is not able to attend the Rising Stars program, another participant can be selected. Unused codes and individual attendee drops will not be eligible for refund or transfer after 3/29/23.
To transfer a code, please email learning@nextupisnow.org so that we can process the attendee transfer for you. Transfers will incur an administrative fee of $100 per transfer and are based on availability.
Transfer between cohorts (Cohort A > B or B > A) are also referred to as transfers and all transfer policies apply.
Why are cancellations not offered after March 29th?
As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, NextUp unfortunately does not have the flexibility to absorb the unexpected cost of cancellations after our cutoff date. Offering refunds at that time would negatively impact our ability to deliver on our mission, and to create events like NextUp Rising Stars learning program.
Why are transfers not allowed after March 29th?
Rising Stars is a robust learning program that includes assessments and coaching. We are unable to transfer a person after March 29th as assessments are ordered for the participant and coaching assignments are made. To preserve the quality of experience for each participant and their groups, we are unable to make changes to the roster after 3/29/23.
As no goods or services are provided for registrations that go unused after March 29th, you may contact us to request that your registration fee be converted into a tax-deductible charitable donation to NextUp if you are unable to use your registration. Hotel:
Hotel rooms and block rates are on a first-come, first-served basis from the opening of Rising Stars registration. We recommend booking as soon as possible after registration to avoid any issues with securing accommodations. Please note that the hotel room block and rates are limited and first come, first served. Throughout registration, but especially during the final 2 weeks registration is open, few or no rooms may be available.
*The policies listed are specific to Rising Stars 2023 only and supersede any other NextUp event policies.
