Danit Schleman (she/her/hers) is the VP of Regions and Development at NextUp, a nonprofit membership organization advancing women in business. Danit has been working at the intersection of strategy and DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging) for over 20 years. Her superpower is soaking up information, identifying patterns and connections, and creating frameworks for greater clarity. She acquired a strategic, data-driven toolkit over a decade of leading management consulting projects at Oliver Wyman. She balances her analytic toolkit with an outcomes-oriented, operational mindset developed through leading talent strategy projects and building the Inclusion and Diversity team at the firm. Danit applies her extensive experience to the education, non-profit, and corporate sectors, helping clients align their organizations to their missions, strategies, and values to deliver tangible impact. Danit holds an M.B.A. with Distinction from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and B.A. magna cum laude in social studies from Harvard College. When she’s not shaping the future of organizations, you’ll find her in Chicago, where she lives with her husband and three kids, likely immersed in a good book or practicing yoga – activities that fuel her passion for lifelong learning and personal growth.
