Coffee Power Hour with Val Jabbar of Kroger

Join NextUp Mountain Region for a virtual coffee hour with Val Jabbar, SVP Retail Divisions for The Kroger Co. and national board member for NextUp.

Val will share her perspective on NextUp and its mission to advance all women in the workplace, the impact she’s seen from NextUp through her involvement in multiple regions and at the national level, and specific ways Kroger has embedded NextUp into its business operations.

Following Val’s remarks, NextUp Mountain Region executive chair Becky Diaz (Director Retail Operations for Kroger’s King Soopers/City Market divisions) and NextUp Northwest Arkansas board member Beth Stephens (CMO/Advisor, Engel & Völkers) will facilitate a Q&A session with Val. Attendees will be able to ask questions, learn more about the business case for supporting NextUp, as well as how brands can effectively infuse NextUp into personal and professional development for associates and harness the organization to propel DEI&B initiatives.
