Jon Young is a seasoned retail executive with more than two decades of experience leading large-scale operations, developing high-performing teams, and driving customer-focused results across one of the nation’s largest grocery retailers.
As Division President for Kroger’s Columbus Division, Jon is responsible for overall business performance, including operational execution, customer experience, and associate engagement across a complex retail footprint. He is known for delivering strong results while fostering a culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Jon joined Kroger in 2002 and has progressed through a series of senior leadership roles, including Vice President of the Fry’s and Houston divisions and District Manager in Dallas. Across each role, he has demonstrated the ability to lead large organizations and align teams around strategic priorities.
Jon is deeply committed to mentoring emerging leaders and building strong, inclusive teams. He actively supports diversity, equity, and inclusion by sponsoring talent and creating pathways for advancement through coaching and leadership development.
