Strategic Ally Award
The Strategic Ally award recognizes the ally-level Ambassador team that demonstrates exceptional engagement and impact through associate participation, recruitment, and internal alignment. This team leads meaningful initiatives, removes barriers to inclusion and growth, and proudly represents NextUp with measurable results and advocacy.
Nomination Process: Any ally-level Ambassador or Ambassador Team is eligible to be nominated for this award. All nominations will be reviewed, and the top finalists will be voted on by the NextUp Board.
Criteria
The nominee must be an ally-level Ambassador or Ambassador team demonstrating exceptional engagement through participation, recruitment, and internal alignment. The team should show measurable results that support the NextUp mission.
2025 Award Winner
JOH
The JOH NextUp Ambassador Team has driven impressive engagement growth, with registrations up 48.8% year-to-date in 2025 and expanded involvement across multiple regions. The team hosted an in-person kickoff at headquarters to walk members through NextUp resources, boosting logins and participation in online programs. With ambassadors representing HR, Sales, and Analytics and strong support from leadership including CEO Matt O’Hare, the team ensures every employee feels connected to NextUp opportunities. By expanding support beyond New England to regions such as Twin Cities, New York, and Pennsylvania, the JOH team continues to keep NextUp active, visible, and integral to the company’s culture of development and connection.
