Aileen Almuete Murphy, DO

Dr. Aileen Murphy is a General and Bariatric Surgeon that practices in the San Ramon, Walnut Creek and Concord

areas. She graduated with Bachelor of Sciences in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at University of

California, Davis. She has a Masters in Medical Sciences from Boston University. She graduated from Touro

University, College of Osteopathic Medicine at Mare Island and completed her surgical residency training at Kern

Medical Center in Bakersfield, CA. She completed fellowship training in Bariatric Surgery at Legacy Weight

and Diabetes Institute in Portland, Oregon. She settled with her family in Walnut Creek and focuses her practice

on hernia repairs, gallbladder removals, and anti-reflux surgeries in addition to weight loss surgeries. She enjoys

working with patients who are committed to working on improving their health and lifestyle and is excited to

embark on their weight loss journey with them, however they decide to accomplish it.
