NextUp Rising Stars trains tomorrow's leaders by increasing self-awareness, building leadership skills, and expanding business networks. This program is based on the NextUp Career Accelerator Model™ and includes a customized 360 assessment, the Fascination Advantage assessment, a three-day learning event, leadership coaching sessions (with an option to add additional sessions for a fee). 

Registration Fee

Regular Rate: $3,695 per person 

Last Chance Rate: $4,095 per person

Observer Rate*: $1,595 per person

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Advisory 

NextUp takes the safety of our community very seriously. This is especially the case during the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Learn more about the adjustments we have made or considerations around our planned in-person events. 

Our program will feature 

  • The program will include engaging, interactive elements designed to optimize learning and impactful participation 
  • Speakers will attend live and be available for questions and networking. 
  • Group Coaching will occur at round tables at the event. 
  • Prior to, and after, the live event in July, coaching and orientation will be done with all attendees via virtual meeting platform. 
  • Space is limited for attendance and is first come- first served when registering for the program. 

Hotel:

Hotel room blocks fill quickly, and limited rooms are available on July 9th! Be sure to reserve your room as soon as possible to avoid any issues securing accommodations. If the dates you need are not available to book, please book the days that the website shows are available so that you can get the reduced room rate, then call the hotel at 202-393-2000 to adjust your reservation (subject to availability). If you are attending in person but do not require a sleeping room, please contact us learning@nextupisnow.org.

Observer registration*

Observers will meet before the conference in a webinar with the NextUp learning and development team, including Karen Jones, VP of Learning and Partner Solutions, to discuss how the program is built, and are invited to attend our in-person segment at the J W Marriot Washington DC July 9th – 11th. You will observe NextUp coaching, discussion, assessment, group learning, and networking and learn why these are core components of the NextUp leadership learning model. At the event, you will also have access to special networking opportunities with other HR and L&D leaders. 

Observers should be L&D or HR professionals interested in learning more about how NextUp curates our learning experiences. Only by experiencing Rising Stars for yourself can you witness how cross-industry learning cohorts like ours offer a completely unique learning experience for up-and-coming leaders!

Rising Stars Purchase, Refund, and Transfer Policies*  

Partner Purchase Codes: Your organization will receive an invoice for the codes based on when the request for the code was made. 

Ex. You requested 50 codes on 1/6/25. You will get an invoice for 25 codes at the Regular Rate. You request 10 codes on 5/2/25. You will be billed for 10 codes at the Last Chance Rate. Billing rates and dates are listed below.  

Billing rates and dates are as follows: 

1/6/25 – 4/30/25 Regular Rate $3695  

5/1/25 – 5/7/25 Last Chance Rate $4095

Individual purchase Refund and Cancelation: You may cancel your registration within 14 days of purchase or until April 30th 2025, whichever comes first. All purchases and registrations made after 4/30/25 are not eligible for cancellation or refund. The last day to cancel your registration is April 30th 2025. Cancellations incur a $500 fee. To cancel, log in to your NextUp Account and select “My Event Registration” from the left navigation. Here, you can cancel any upcoming registrations by clicking “Cancel.” 

Partner Purchase Code Refunds & Cancellations: Codes can be cancelled (refunded) within 14 days of the code request or by April 30th 2025, whichever comes first. Please email learning@nextupisnow.org to request code cancelations. 

Transfers: An unused Partner Purchase code(s) and individual registrations can be transferred to a different attendee until April 30th 2025. If an individual is not able to attend the Rising Stars program, another participant can be selected. Unused codes and individual attendee cancelations will not be eligible for refund or transfer after April 30th, 2025. 

To transfer a code, please email learning@nextupisnow.org so that we can process the attendee transfer for you. Transfers will incur an administrative fee of $100 per transfer and are based on availability. 

Why are cancellations not offered after April 30th? 

As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, NextUp unfortunately does not have the flexibility to absorb the unexpected cost of cancellations after our cutoff date. Offering refunds at that time would negatively impact our ability to deliver on our mission, and to create events like NextUp Rising Stars learning program. 

Why are transfers not allowed after April 30th? 

Rising Stars is a robust learning program that includes assessments and coaching. We are unable to transfer a person after April 30th as assessments are ordered for the participant and coaching assignments are made. To preserve the quality of experience for each participant and their groups, we are unable to make changes to the roster after April 30th, 2025. 

As no goods or services are provided for registrations that go unused after April 30th, you may contact us to request that your registration fee be converted into a tax-deductible charitable donation to NextUp if you are unable to use your registration.
