With rising tensions and differing viewpoints, everyday conversations can quickly become challenging to manage. This workshop will equip you with practical tools and strategies to manage tough conversations with clarity, empathy, and confidence.
Overview:
Develop Active Listening and Empathy Skills
Participants will :
• Learn to listen for understanding rather than responding
• Practice reflecting on what they hear without judgment
• Develop the ability to find common ground even when disagreeing with someone's position.
Understand De-escalation and Bridge-Building Techniques
Participants will:
• Gain practical tools for recognizing emotional triggers,
• Learn how to use objective language to reframe contentious topics
• Understand how to shift conversations from adversarial to collaborative problem-solving modes.
Build Confidence in Engaging Constructively Across Differences.
