About the event

In honor of Women's History Month, we want to Make The Invisible Visible by Empowering women to take control of their health and outcomes. In medicine, women have historically been thought of as small men. However, women are different from men at a cellular level. This misrepresentation, making women largely invisible in medical research, has had far-reaching and serious implications, including women being misdiagnosed and mis-medicated. We want to improve outcomes for women by addressing this ‘data deficiency’ and making women more visible in health data.
