​Launch is a comprehensive 4-week leadership development program designed specifically for new and emerging leaders ready to build a strong foundation in essential leadership competencies. Whether you're stepping into your first leadership role or have been leading for less than four years, Launch equips you with the practical skills and strategic frameworks needed to lead with confidence and impact. Through a blend of self-directed learning and live expert-led sessions, you'll develop critical leadership capabilities across seven core competency areas:

• ​Adaptive Leadership & People Management 
• ​Communication and Influence  
• ​Conflict Resolution 
• ​Time Management 
• ​Project Management 
• ​Delegation  
• ​Supervision  
• ​Fundamentals of Department Budgeting 

​Program Overview 

​Time Commitment: Up to12 hours total over 4 weeks (3 hours per week) 

• ​4 Self-Directed Strategic Modules (self-paced online in NextUp learning platform, NovoEd) 
• ​4 Power Hours with subject matter experts and practitioners conducted virtually via Zoom at 12-1 PM ET on March 3, 10, 17, 24 and (Bonus Session) March 31

An email with instructions on how to access the Launch platform will be sent to all registrants prior to the start date. 

​Cancellations and Refunds 

Registration cancellations must be received prior to or equal to 10 business days (2 weeks) prior to the event to qualify for a refund, less the cancellation fee. To cancel a registration, navigate to “My Event Registrations’ from your NextUp Online account. Select the registration you wish to cancel and click ‘Cancel.’ Within two weeks from the start date of the Event, there are no refunds. See Transfer opportunities below. 

​Transfers 

You may transfer your registration to another member of your organization up to three days before an event provided you have not activated your account on the learning platform. Requests are subject to NextUp approval. Transfer requests received after the 3-day deadline will incur a transfer fee if the transfer is possible.  Request a transfer
