When it comes to promoting equity in leadership, meaningful progress depends on how we work together—as allies, collaborators, and co-creators of change.

This session emphasizes the often-overlooked half of the allyship equation: not how to be an ally, but how to work effectively with one. Participants will re-learn allyship not as saviorism or performance, but as a two-way partnership between an ally and the partner they serve. Dr. V will share how we can identify the right allies, articulate our needs with confidence, and build relationships rooted in trust, shared responsibility, and mutual accountability.

Attendees will leave with actionable strategies for increasing visibility, influence, and access to opportunity through ally partnerships. Because when we intentionally work together across our differences, we multiply our power to build a fairer, more just workplace—together.
