Member Since: 2018. However I have been attending NEW events for over 10 years.
How did you first hear about NEW, and what prompted you to join?
I first heard about NEW from a colleague. I attended an event and I was impressed by the number of women and organizations represented. I later joined the NEW Southern California chapter due to the great networking opportunities and featured speakers. Additionally, I’ve found the NEW Southern California chapter to be a great mix of diversity, inclusion and thought leadership. I enjoy being around these smart women!
How has NEW impacted your personal/professional life?
NEW provides a feeling a belonging, of being heard, of leaning in to do and be your best self! You’re given the opportunity to grow your network-to meet inspiring women! But its also a safe space for so many of us. I’ve reached out to share successes and failures-and each time I have I’ve been “lifted up”. Encouraged when facing challenges and celebrated when I am facing success!
Tell us about a recent personal accomplishment or event in your life.
Customer nominated to serve on the prestigious Produce Marketing Association-Center for Growing Talent Board of Directors. Website: pma.com
Board member PMA Diversity and Inclusion Task Force. This board will develop initiatives to be adopted by PMA; and to hopefully influence industry leaders to create a more culturally diverse industry.
What is your favorite NEW event you’ve attended?
Personal Branding-Creating Your Brand.
What other activities, aside from being an amazing member of NEW, do you enjoy in your free time?
I am committed to making the world a better place for women and girls, to that end I am involved in various Non-Profits in the Los Angeles area. I also co-chair a Public Policy Institute with Junior League-Los Angeles.

What food could you eat for a week straight for every meal? As a part of our agriculture community- I support farmers and the great fruit and vegetables they bring to our table! Favorite veggies—broccoli!

No funny stories; but plenty of FUN times at NEW!
