Gayatri Agnew

Head of Global Accessibility Center of Excellence, Walmart

Gayatri Agnew comes to Walmart having worked in the public sector both in government and non-profits and found her way to business because of her desire to work on impact at scale. She is committed to shared value and believes businesses can be a force for good in society. Raised by a single mom in California she knows firsthand that access to education and good jobs change lives – and she is proud of the way Walmart unlocks opportunity for so many of our associates. Gayatri serves on the leadership team of Walmart’s Global Culture, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Office where she leads the Global Accessibility Center of Excellence, focused on serving customers and employees with disabilities. She previous served on the leadership team for Walmart’s Global Responsibility division where she leads strategy and philanthropy for Walmart’s efforts on economic mobility. Gayatri’s personal mission is for more people to find purpose through the way they earn a living. She is currently a Presidential Leadership Scholar and an Aspen Institute Ascend Fellow working on changing corporate culture for working moms. She is active in the local community serving on the Bentonville City Council as well as on the national boards for the Vote Mama Foundation, &Mother and Path Forward. When not engaged at work or in civic life she can be found hiking, singing karaoke, enjoying the local farmers market and crafting at home – She is raising her two young children, Rohan and Kamala in Bentonville Arkansas.

Patricia Boswell

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Patricia Boswell is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who has been practicing since 1976. She is an accredited HEDIS/QARR compliance official. HEDIS® (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) and QARR (New York State Department of Health Quality Assurance Reporting Requirements) are performance measures that health providers must report annually to the NYS Department of Health.

Patricia has worked for the past twelve years in a variety of home healthcare settings as well as private duty nursing, hospice, group homes, and senior living centers. She is currently consulting as a Continuous Care Hospice LPN Nurse, Regional COVID 19 tester/strategist and medical oversite case manager for adult individuals with mental and/or physical disabilities who live in group homes. In these roles she works with a team of medical professionals who plan and deliver care to patients in transition (coming home from the hospital and transitioning into long term care at home) as well as end of life. Additionally, she consults with organizations regarding their best practices regarding medical operations.

Patricia is actively working with the Congressional Team of the Alzheimer’s Organization. In this role she meets with New York State legislators on the state and federal level to address issues surrounding dementia care. She has networked with the New York State executive director of Alzheimer’s Organization, as well as the New York City, Mid-Hudson staffs, and is considered part of the advocacy and outreach team for the national organization.

Patricia is also an entrepreneur and an MBA. She is the creator of Safonique, one of the first plant-based, natural, and eco-friendly laundry detergents. She has been awarded The Food Marketing Institute New Product Showcase Award for Safonique, and the Walmart-Women Empowerment Scholarship at the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College. Joanna L. Krotz featured Patricia and Safonique in her book, BEING EQUAL DOESN’T MEAN BEING THE SAME (Motivational Press, 2016).
Previously, Patricia worked for Avon Cosmetics for ten years in manufacturing management in the Health, Beauty, and Jewelry Divisions. At Avon, Patricia was the first female African American MBA employee.

Tara Schultz

Category Management Team Leader, Kimberly-Clark, Walmart Team

Tara Schultz is a Category Management Team Leader with Kimberly-Clark working on the Walmart Team. Four years ago, her mother fell and broke her hip, which led to mobility issues and anesthesia-triggered dementia. Tara suddenly found her a “caregiver” and felt completely unprepared, overwhelmed and alone; she was having to make decisions that impacted the life, and potentially the quality of life, of her mother. As Tara was navigating this journey, she knew that she wanted to help make this process easier for others, so she joined one of Kimberly-Clark’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) called the Family Caregiver Network; this ERG strives to support, advocate, and educate K-C’s caregiving employees. Tara recently took over as Chairman for North America with the goal of driving ERG awareness and the availability of resources. Learn more about Kimberly-Clark’s Inclusion & Diversity initiatives.
